My Glock 20 is probably my favorite pistol. I have several options when it comes to handguns, but most often the 20 is the one I choose. I've owned the G20 for about 14 years, I have my 29 for about 16. In the past year I've acquired an STI Nitro 10 and last moth going through a local shop I like, the owner brought out an almost new G40 he had just taken in as a trade. So I'll pick that up in the near future.

I have a STI Nitro 10 1911 I'm quite happy with. Not a lot of mileage on it yet, but the more I carry it, the more I shoot it, the more I do maintenance on it, the more I like it.

I've got about 15 years with my Glock 20; 16 or 17 years with my Glock 29. They are good for 25-30 yard shoulder shots on feral dogs or eastern coyotes. I wouldn't try to take a deer at more than 20 yards with either.(I would try for a deer with a 6' .357 mag single action at 50 yards). I'm making up my mind on a Glock 40 or a longslide 1911 10mm. Maybe I'll try a longer aftermarket barrel for the Glock 20, but I like to keep my handguns as stock as possible. I don't change things out until they break, changing springs doesn't count.

 Congratulations on your Heavy 10. I have an STI Nitro 10 and I love it. I changed out the FMSH for an arched MSH with the lanyard ring because that's how I like my full size 1911's. 500 rounds through it, I keep it clean and lubed, Triip Research Mags, HP', XTPs hard cast and jacketed flat point cones, no malfunctions.
