Gear/Equipment / 34 Round Magazine for your Glock 20

Working very well so far. There are a few modifications you have to make. This is NOT a drop in kit for the 10mm but it does work.

I fixed it by take 2 1/2 rounds out of each spring, works just fine now. Thank you everybody that responded.

Lock the slide back before seating a fully loaded mag, especially if the mag is brand new
That does work but I wanted to carry 8+1. I may have to clip the mag spring.

You could try clipping a coil off the mag spring.  Before I did that though, I would assemble the mag with no spring and make sure it isn't follower interference.

In general though I don't recommend clipping springs on carry magazines.  I would rather have 7 sure shots than 8 with random stoppages.

YMMV.

I thought about that. the follower spring is fully compressed. thanks for you input. BTW I've never taken down a mag like this before, how do you get the floor plate off?

Gunsmithing / Delta Elite full mag issue

I just bought a new, never fired, Delta elite and when I load 8 rounds in the magazine the magazine will not lock in place, there's no play in the mag spring to allow it to lock up. Works fine with 7.Any ideas?
