Title: Hornady 9mm 124gr HP with BE-86
Post by: Graybeard on October 24 2020 02:36:51 PM MDT
Does anyone have the Hornady 10th edition manual and does it have load data for their 124gr HP and BE-86?

Yes it does
3.9gr or 900 FPS
4.3 - 950
4.5 - 1000
4.9 - 1050
5,2 max for 1100 fps

listed XTP or FMJ

YMMV in your gun. Ladder testing yourself.

Thanks Shadow and sstewart. I've loaded some 124gr XTPs at 1.120" using the generic HP data from Alliant. They look long to me for the design of that bullet. They ran fine, but I'd like to try Hornady's version at 1.060".

I went by the Alliant data for my 124s. I am actually running .2 over their max load at 6.1gr but my Ruger SR9c is built like a tank. Please do you own testing!! I have the overall set at 1.125.
