Was going through some of my ammo today before heading out to our shooting spot, and came across several boxes of Underwood's 180gr FMJ range supply, and a box of Fenix's range ammo. For factory plinking ammo (regardless of the expense) my wife and I had a heck of a good time
Ken
Ken, How did you feel about the Underwood compared to Fenix that you shot?
Morning Shadow, The Fenix is for sure hotter, but equally as accurate as UW's range supply in my opinion. If cost wasn't a consideration, I would likely stick with the Fenix, however neither are inexpensive compared to rolling your own.
Ken
Sounds great Ken! Yep Fenix is loading pretty hot, check that brass looking for any smiles or bulges...
I think UW has tamed their loads down some from the past
Pretty sure your correct on that
And Underwood lists their Range Supply ammo at 1250 fps. Regular Underwood 180 grain is listed at 1300.
Absolutely some fun stuff 😀
Great to shoot.
It seems like Underwood is always out of it. Even before the Covid 19 hording.
