Pistol Caliber, Rifle - Revolver Combos date back to the 1870s with the 44wcf and the 44-40
These set-ups saved the lives of a lot of Cowboys and Frontier Families for decades
Here are pics of my three Marlin - Ruger Combo Set-ups:

Sorry for the poor Cell Phone quality pics....
Looks like my collection. I'm a rifle-pistol cartridge fanatic, too.
On the to-do list:
.44-40
.32-20
10mm Auto (work in progress)
I'm looking to put a 10mm Carbine together myself
The 44-40 or 32-20s;
Sounds VERY NICE
Very nice collection. Good luck on having a 10mm Carbine one day!
The utilitarianism of a rifle/revolver combo is unquestionable. I have a Browning Model 92 in .357 Magnum. I've been thinking about either the Blackhawk, or GP100 as an augment. Nice collection of leverguns you have there. I've seen Marlins re-chambered at the [Big Horn Armory] for the big .500 S&W, with the matching revolver.
It may be easier to build a 460 S&W Mag, since it's basically a 45LC Magnum
Finally added my 10mm Combo
The MechTech/Glock, MG20-M4, and a Gen3, Glock 20SF:

Check out Mechtech. You can make a 10mm carbine using either a Glock or 1911 pistol.
