So a few weeks ago I destroyed the sky screens on my CED millennium chronograph for the second time. Soooo I bought a LabRadar. Tested it out today on a few guns as well as the new Sig P220 to work out some 10mm loads. Loving the new Chronograph
Attached is a screen shot of my load spreadsheet. All loads worked up in the Sig P220
Here's a summary of the loads so far
135 gr Nosler @1684 FPS 850 FtLbs :o
180 gr XTP @1342 FPS
200 gr XTP @1166 FPS
200gr Gold Dot @1158 FPS
Brass looked great on all the loads and I think I have room to push both 200 gr loads a little harder to get a solid 1200FPS.
This P220 shoots a lot softer than I remember the Glock 20 shooting with similar loads.

what is the barrel length on your P220? also what powder are you using? those are some good looking numbers.
Barrel length is 5.0 inches. Powder is Longshot.

If you want to see 1200 plus with the 200 grain bullets you will need 9.4 grains of LongShot About 1240 fps.

Well the Sig is about 1.5x the weight of the Glock so softer recoil should be expected.
