Title: Anyone used Badman hardcast?
Post by: jdub1836 on June 08 2020 11:09:38 AM MDT
I ordered a 40 count sample of Badman 200 gr hardcast for $10 with shipping included. After ordering I looked at the FAQ on their site and it said that their hardcast should only be loaded to 21,000 PSI or 1500 FPS which ever comes first. I am new to hardcast bullets and now I am reluctant to load them. I emailed the website to see what he thought about loading his .401 hardcast for 10mm auto. I am using a stock SR1911.

https://www.badmanbullets.com/OnlineStore/products.php?cat=40+200+Grain+FPHas anyone tried loading these?

Has anyone used these or have some knowledge to throw at me?

If so any load data for Longshot or No. 7?

Thanks fellas

If they fit, they should be fine.  By "fit" I mean .001" over measured groove diameter, determined by slugging the barrel.

If you go over the elastic deformation limit of the bullets you will experience poor accuracy and leading, neither of which are life or earth ending calamities.
