Title: Magtech 180gr FMJ
Post by: RDub01 on May 17 2020 03:33:55 PM MDT
Ordered some Magtech 180gr FMJ at Graf & Sons.. $11.99 per 100.
Wanted to see if I could find a sweet spot with BE-86 in the G20-SF for plinking.

Loaded some rounds up and shot them this morning;
Also tried some Titegroup and AA#5
Target circles 4".

Things tightened up at 8.0grs.  Titegroup didn't do all that bad either.. Nice change.
AA#5 did well with a Federal pulled bullet I tested a while back, but didn't particularly care for this one.

Anyway just checked to see if Graf & Sons still had those bullets in stock.. They do, if anyone is interested.

I ordered some of those on clearance from Graf's a couple of years ago. I always weigh some and put the calipers on new bullets, to me. They were incredibly consistent weights and the diameters were dead on. You should be able to get a very accurate load from them.

I've used these with Blue Dot. Very good results, very good value.
