Im about to order a Bar-Sto extended threaded barrel for my Rock Island Ultra FS HC so I can run my suppressor on it.
It appears to me that the barrel has a Para/Clark cut based on the pics below. Am I looking at this correctly?

That is correct.
Very helpful for a future Barrel 😀
Thanks!
Ken
What barrel are you think of going with Ken? Bar-Sto makes some of the finest barrels I have ever seen. They do require some fitting though.

Hey Mike, my hope is to find a multi caliber suppressor that will work reasonably well (all things considered) with .45 ACP, 10mm, and 9mm. From what I can tell, one of Ospreys cans may be an option. As for Barrel options / length, I'm undecided at this point. Any suppressor suggestions for my Rock Ultra full size HC 10 would be very helpful; and yes, Bar-Sto makes some amazing barrels for sure
Thanks!
Ken
Don't forget Schuemann when barrel searching. They also make some great barrels, and have some options that no other maker has.
Thanks sqlbullet!

Hi Ken. I have a couple of suppressor options at my disposal. My original pistol suppressor that I bought is the Osprey 45. It suppresses reasonably well and it's nice that it doesn't interfere with the sights by hanging below the barrel line.
However my ratchet mechanism is starting to slip and I will eventually have to send it to SiCo for repair.
I recently purchased a Dead Air Ghost 45 and a Silencerco Hybrid but it's a heavy beast. Unfortunately I've not shot either so I can't give any feedback on either of them regarding suppression. I do like that the Ghost is a modular can and can be run in short or long lengths.

Thank man!, so if you were to make a recommendation for a multi caliber suppressor that will work with .45 ACP, 10mm, and 9mm, (knowing what you know now) what would you suggest?
Ken
All things considered probably the Dead Air Ghost M 45.

Looks like most everyone is getting aprx $850.00 for them; sound about right?
My LGS has the for $799.00

I got lucky when i bought mine. Dead Air had a promotion running where if you bought any other can at MSRP you could buy the Ghost for $399.
So I bought a Mask HD 22LR can for $399 and got the Ghost for $399. [emoji16]

Nice!
Are they still taking 6-8 months to clear?

Unfortunately longer than that. My last ones took a couple of week less than a year.
Absolutely no justification for that. Government bureaucracy at its finest. [emoji57]

Absolutely, these checks could be accomplished in two months at best; it's just plain silly the way this is done

I'm of the opinion they shouldn't be any more regulated than anything else bought on a 4473.
Should be able to walk in, pick one out, NICS check, pass, pay and walk out. There is no justification for anything else.

My thoughts exactly
Have you thought about doing a form 1 to build your own, approvals have been about 30 days.

I've looked into it a few times and I've never found a kit that I would trust. All of them seem to use inferior materials unless you have the ability to do your own machining and weld exotic metals.

Hey Harleycolt, any recommendations on who would offer something like this?
Thanks
