Post by: gadabout on March 27 2020 09:36:36 AM MDT
The range is under water and I got stuck on the road out to it. Had to get a friend out there with the backhoe to get me out. End of range report!!!!!  Craig

Danger Danger glad you got out safe!  I remember my event like this Elk hunting in Yampa, CO where up to the headlights snow fell overnight and it took 8 hours of winching to get 3 vehicles down the mountain 2 1/2 miles to only get stuck in the last 200 yards.  A very nice rancher had mercy on us and brought the tractor out to free us.  What a memory.

Yeah, I just really wanted to test 10 rounds in my Kahr MP9 but took other rounds and guns with me. I will do a thread on these rounds after I shoot them. It's a 9mm XTP 90 grain JHP that I found a box of in my loading room. No data except I looked in my Lyman 49 book and it had the round in there. I'll start a new thread with this round but it's raining right now so it will be in a week or so.  Craig

OK tested 8 rounds 9mm 90g XTP today at a friends range but he  had a friend sighting in a 223 so I didn't stay  long. The round ran great in two guns with plenty of power. The Sig shot the best of course.  Craig
