Thinking of putting together a CCO style 1911. I am currently bidding on an IAI Skipper on Gunbroker, but it is rapidly approaching my stop point.
I know Fusion sells a officers sized frame. Are there any other makers out there that sell a quality officer sized 1911 frame? Any suggestions for a base gun that I am overlooking that might make sense?
What about STI or Caspian?
neither one lists a officers frame on their sites that I could find. Gonna have to call them I guess to see if they do a custom order.
The Fusion frame is a nice forged frame. I just want to make sure I don't miss out on an uber deal on the latest and greatest new metallurgical and CNC wonder
I had Fusion make this CCO in 10mm. Steel frame.

That is what I am after.
Well, that and saying I built it.
Would love to see that if/when you complete it.
Nice, Deadguy. Carbon Fibers are a cool touch too.
Grips are one pain point on my Para 16-40/10. Since they aren't standard 1911 grips, the options are few and far between.
A slab-side will give me a bunch of grip options.

Thanks Vice. I am pleased with the feel as well.
