Title: Hornady MonoFlex 10mm Auto Handgun Hunter
Post by: Star Child on January 17 2020 06:54:59 AM MST
Hornady is releasing a new line of handgun ammo called "Handgun Hunter".  The 10mm Auto load is  135gr. copper projectile !  It would be nice if Hornady would make these bullets available for reloading.  We should be able to get over 1,500 fps with them and the bullet still hold together.  What do you think.

I think they're pretty expensive! I'm curious as the the change in POI relative to heavier bullets. Also curious as to how fast they open up and what their minimum speed is for that. They may be great for those in no lead states. Time and testing will tell.

I can't see the draw to it, especially at $1.65 per round. Also don't know why they went so light. Barnes at least offers a 155 grain mono.
