Title: headstamped 10 mm brass w/ A USA
Post by: jiminthe burg on January 05 2020 11:36:24 AM MST
Any one used any of this brass. In goggling this, it says it is Armscor  and it was manufactured in USA not Phillipines. I was gifted some brass from private outdoor range. Any one used it? Don"t plan to fully charge cases as it seems to be reloads as my friend gave me a bag of mixed brass that came from the same range session- some RP, Starline and Winchester- that was fired in a Glock.  Some reviewers said the primer pockets too shallow and off center. Just wanted to see what experiences some of my 10mm brethren had experienced, if any.
Thanks
Jim

I loaded up a hundred A USA 10mm brass that was once fired. Everything went fine. Shot like any other brass. Flash holes & primer pockets look normal. Primer pockets are not off-center and the primers seated at the proper depth. I would use this brass without reservation.

I haven't run into any headstamped A-USA. However, any brass headstamped A-MERC goes directly in the trash. It's not worth even considering reloading. It's so bad I wouldn't give it to anybody either. For the 10mm, I'm using Starline as I'm having to buy the brass as new, unused. Hard to go wrong with Starline.
