Could this be the best ALL AROUND 10MM Pistol?
Great report on Sig Sauer Emperor Scorpion 10MM, that should serve you quite well
Great video!
Great review, Thanks man!
Kink : )
Nice review
Great review, I have one as well and it has become my favorite out of the 8 in my collection.
Looks to be a dandy but then at what one costs it should be a dandy. I've seen prices on one from a grand to 1500 US dollars. Good review, as always.
Wow 1500 thats above manufacturer suggestion. I have seen them new from $925 to $1050 when you can find them locally.

The Sig is a great gun. I have been on the verge of buying one several times. But there is one big and one small drawback to this gun: The big one is the weight, and the small one is the number of rounds for that weight.
A handgun, it has been famously said, is for fighting your way back to the rifle you never should have put down. While I like this quote, the reality of the modern world is that you have to leave you rifle home unless you are really certain you are going to encounter trouble. This leaves us with a handgun that can be taken on the go.
The handguns I use are the ones I can conveniently carry. I have obtained quite the collection of guns seeking something ideal for me. I started with a Witness full-size. Next was a wide body 1911. The Witness and wide-body 1911 are a joy to shoot. But they are big and heavy even with a good belt and a good holster. I moved on the lighter guns that didn't sacrifice capacity for everyday use.
And this is the only knock I have of the P220. Not only is it just as heavy as my Witness or wide body 1911, it has only 2/3's the magazine capacity. Being heavy and of limited magazine capacity, I can't call it the "ideal" handgun.
But, it is still really, really good!
Great points -- I meant the ideal 10MM pistol :P capable of handling many different situations.
If I'm searching this model correctly, it looks like they are in the 12-13 range, anyone seeing then for much cheaper?
Thanks
Ken
Have a 220/10... close to above
tho it's a great gun, the main issue against carrying is it's weight. It's just plain heavy.
While this helps at the range, it is a bunch to tote around.
No complaints at all, has never had any issues with all types of ammo.... just in the end I carry my G20 which while big too, feels like half the weight.
BTW, 30 vs 44oz ( empty )
The P220 is a 45 year old design. Any full size steel framed traditional double action pistol is heavy. The single stack magazine is one reason the pistol handles so well. I carried a 5" 1026 on my hip daily for three years and didn't care much for the weight or size. I still carry the same gun on a regular basis, albeit in a Miami shoulder rig. It is very comfortable, but requires a coat for concealment. If you haven't tried a shoulder rig, you should. You can buy used ones pretty reasonable. I have four. With the mag pouches, mag capacity is not an issue.
