Title: Canik Pistol
Post by: TXCOONDOG on December 01 2019 05:30:56 PM MST
Looking at buying a 9mm with a 5" barrel and ran across the Canik TP9SFX.

Anyone have one of these ?

Any feedback is appreciated.

Shooting buddy has one.  Solid gun from what I can tell.  Very reasonable pricing too.

Been looking at one myself. I've yet to read a disappointed owners review. All claim they are fantastic shooters. The 5.2" barrel is attractive to me as all of the 9mm I currently own are 4" or shorter. The Canik comes in 40SW and 380. There are various models of the SFX. The supposed match grade or TP9 is the one I'm looking at, like you. Grab a Gun had them for sale cheap a few months ago. Stupid me didn't buy one.

Grab A Gun has them for 399.99.

Trying to decide between this and a CC revolver

I bought a Cantik tp9sf about 3 years ago. I have put 10-15k rounds thru it, mostly hot reloads. I can't remember a failure that wasn't ammo related.
Very accurate gun and made quite well.
Yes it's an old thread but I just wanted to share my experience

a good friend of mine has several of them and really likes them. The Canik S-120 is the one that has caught my eye, plus their prices are great
