Title: G20 Locking Block Pin
Post by: lagarto on November 25 2019 08:15:29 AM MST

I have a G20 Gen 3 that keeps bending (bowing) locking block pins. I have replaced that pin 5 times, using OEM, SS, & titanium. All end up with the same  result. Any one out there have any suggestions. ?

Thank you in advance.

The first thing I would do is measure the pin hole in the frame and compare measurement to your pin. Specifically, look for pin holes that are out of round.

I have encountered 3 or 4 Glocks that were fired so heavily that pin holes were distorted- one was a .357 Sig and one was a Model 21 converted to .460 Rowland. Realignment of the holes and use of oversize pin cleared up the problem.
