Any one have experience with Fiocchi 10mm Auto 180 Grain JHPs?
The box specs and some reviews look ok for the price and number. Plus coming in a box of 50 is pretty handy as well.
I ordered 2 boxes for now, their planned use is for general shooting and for deer and other medium to small problem critters.
Specs are 180 grains at 1250 FPS and 624 Ft/Lbs.
Just wondering if others have used them and how their performance was/is?
Right now got some XTPs from hornady for deer but sighting in ate more than I expected (Can't be user error...right? 8) ). Next year going to build a supply of Underwood.
I would say (Warm]. Not full house,yet noticible stout. Middle ground.
I thought that the Fiocchi was milder than that.
I usually buy Magtech, but will consider that too.
What deal have you found?
Just got new P220 and fired 10 or 12 of these yesterday. Accuracy, both on paper and the pile of brass was good. Recoil seemed similar to Sig 180 fmj and a bit more than my homefactory rounds. Box says 1250fps, ill try to chrono in future.

Oh sorry so long to reply, I been beer...er deer hunting. Thanks for the inputs and knowing I got a good round for General Purpose use. I grabbed the mag stacked with last of the Hornady XTPs and got a deer with it to day, had an after market barrel conniption with FTFs but that bullet worked fine. I left that barrel in it when I needed the 200 Lead Hard Casts in it for a while. As for sighting in it was a waste of time and ammo...sights were right on out of the box it seems looking at my sight clicking records.

My Hornady180 XTP had Failure to Feed , that was the FTF I put in there as I guess it can mean something else, in my Alpha Wolf Barrel, but the Fiocchi 10mm Auto 180 Grain JHPs fed fine. I put the stock glock barrel back in and the Hornady 180 XTP feed okishly. I thought it was the mag but it wasn't.
Anyone have actual chrono results on this round?
Just curious.
Already a proven deer round from the other threads.
