Title: CMMG BANSHEE 10MM 500 RND REPORT
Post by: terdog on November 03 2019 10:12:57 PM MST
I've now had the BANSHEE MK10 for a couple of weeks. I've run 500 rnds through her, a mix of LAX loads and my favorite plinking rnd, MAGTECH FMJ.

She has been handled by my son (20, 165 lbs and experienced shooter), my daughters BF (25 & 175 lbs & experienced), my cousin (64,  220 & experienced) , his wife (63 & hardly ever shoots), my GF (58, 180 & a pretty good shooter) & me (61, 220 & an avowed 10mm freakazoid).

To a person, everyone is amazed at how soft she shoots, the DELAYED BLOWBACK working fantastically. Seems like she reads your mind on target acquisition and your just along for the ride.  The overall light weight is a huge bonus.

I tried adding a pistol scope that I had, then switched to an AMAZON SPECIAL $18 REFLEX SIGHT with great results. So I put the pistol scope back in its box and on the spares shelf. I bought some 45 degree flip up battlesights and they work quite well out to 75 yrds, which is as far as I have tried them.

Ammo -
LAX - I had maybe 5% that would have light strikes. Some wouldn't light off at all. but when they did light off, they cycled. Something rated at 1050 fps might have been too weak to cycle, but they did.
Only the LAX gave me issues. but, as I have 1500 rnds, I'm gonna burn through it.

MAGTECH - Absolutely zero issues with it. Good stuff and the most affordable. 1250 fps is good.(//)
