The hunter drew and two tapped the bear at full charge.

First shot definitely CNS. Second shot probably the same.

This is why deep penetration is important. I have heard some say the round only needs to drive deep enough to penetrated the skull. In this case the shooter missed the head and still the bullet had enough penetration to hit the spine.

Great success story. I am glad he got a shot off in time and that it was placed well.

Fantastic report.
But, it happened last year and we just now are hearing about it?
