Title: Harrison Design Extreme Service Sight for SR1911
Post by: Rick R on September 13 2019 11:21:27 AM MDT
I recently received an email from Harrison Design about their sights

"I'm writing to everyone who has inquired about a rear sight to replace the factory target adjustable rear sight on their Ruger SR1911. I have re-engineered an existing H-D design so that it will be a proper fit on the SR1911. I expect to have these sights in stock and ready to go within the next 3-4 weeks and there will be an announcement on my Facebook page and on the home page of my web store. I have attached a couple of isometric drawings so you can see what the finished product will look like.

               Thank you for your patience

Best Regards,

For those wondering....

The above thread details my install of the HD001S from Harrison, along with pictures both of a plain install, and of the install after I re-cut the sight.

I love my SR1911 but that adjustable sight isn't CCW friendly.  Hopefully this fixes that.
