My favorite
Starline Brass
XTP / HAP bullets
Blue Dot 10.4gr
Win LG Pistol.
: )
10.4 gains of Blue Dot hand weighed to match grade has always been a accurate round for me as well...
What grain bullet are y'all speaking of?
Hi, sorry, 180gr XTP, or HAP
Ken
Pretty much same here..... Starline brass, 10.4 gr Blue dot, 180 gr bullets, seems to work well with all the primers I have used
They are nothing close to nuclear, but are darn accurate / produce a nice fireball : )
I shooting 12.8grs of 2400 under a variety of 180gr bullets- HST, HAP, coated lead. They all are shooting right at an inch at 25yds from bags. That load in my 10mm shoots a little tighter than the 10.4grs of Blue Dot but you won't be disappointed with it if you try it. The Blue Dot loads shoots just over an 1.25"- 25 yds out of mine.
When I did the load development work for Triton Cartridge on the 40 Super, I fired thousands of rounds with all sorts of different 10mm bullets, powders, and primers.
The most accurate load was with the 180gr Gold Dot using IMR 800X powder. My 6" Safari Arms put 5 shots under 1.5" at FIFTY yards. Two groups, both under 1.5", fired back to back.

New Starline brass (for most consistent next tension). Blue Dot or Accurate No. 9. 180 or 200 gr XTP. Most likely those combos will yield something that your gun likes.
