Went to test some rounds this morning and it was so nice I went back this afternoon. The morning rounds were interesting as I was shooting 38 special with (Hold On) Trailboss just for laughs. I had good data from Hodgedon web site and could load 2.8 to 4 safely and one step safer I shot these in a 357 mag revolver. I was shooting 158 JHP. Shooting the 357 was like shooting a 22 but the S&W airweight was very stout seems like. I will load some more just to get rid if the powder. Oh I did load 3.5 if anyone cares. It seemed like a hand full in the airweight but I could go a little higher. At 3.5 I can load like 2000 38 special but I don't think I will as I don't shoot 38 very often.
Round two this afternoon I was shooting 9mm 147g jhp in a S&W 910s that I had problems developing a round for like a few years ago. Someone at Handloads.com said if I went to 147g from 115 it would print higher and it did so I was shooting that with a Sig Sauer and of course the Sig outshot the Smith but barely and I wasn't doing my job very well anyway. Well that's it for now. Craig
Glad you were able to get out and do some shooting Craig! It is still miserably hot as hell here... >:D
yeah it's like 90 here and I was going to go today but not sure I am going to make it. Craig
P.S. it is still nice the Trailboss worked as I now have a limited use for it.
