Dropped it on layaway over the weekend box papers and 2 mags 8) 8)!!
Walked in a shop over in the city my son lives in and went in to pickup a box of .38 special for the wife to shoot and there it sat in the case. Looks unfired!
That is a steal of a deal, well done.
Sean
You see these every now and then. I missed one at the local cabela's by about an hour last fall.
Wifey was with me so my son put it on layaway one of us will wind up with her. Will post photos when we get it out but it was absolutely pristine looked like it has been in some ones safe and never been fired!
You need to go buy a lottery ticket NOW! Man, that is some good fortune. Every now and then you do see them, I got a 1026 for $450 last year, when I heard the shop had it I made a 1 hr. 15 minute trip in 45 minutes, even after I called and had them hold it for me.
Congratulations! That's one hell of a deal! Don't let that slip away from you...

Yes, it is!!!
I got my 1006 for around that at the end of summer. I'm still smiling.
Those are some awesome deals! Congrats to you guys! 8)
Well looks like it will be mine as my son just dropped the down payment on the lay away because my wife was standing there and griping.
Now I just need to find a buyer for my ol 93 Browning High Power ( as I have a couple of nice Hungarian FEGS that I carry to the range most of the time now ) so I can pick it up!
Congrats! Hopefully you can move that 93BHP quick! 8)

Thanks man. I have it up on a couple local sites but if she don't move in a day or so I will list it over on gun Broker.
Had the High power for many years but more and more I shoot the 10's my son and I have and leave it home so--.
Been looking for the right SW 10 for a while and really like the feel of the 1066. First 10 I ever shot was my Sons 1076 which is the same pistol except for the frame mount decocker on the 76..
Don't forget pictures when you finally have the little beast.

You can count on um! I have wanted a 1066/1076 for quite some time now so hope it's not too long before I get her in my hands!
I was looking at a new Witness or the Rock Island but luckily the S&W showed up for the right price so---.
I'm pretty much going straight 10mm with the exception of the one Hungarian FEG HP 9mm I have.

Can't argue the intelligence and simplicity all at the same time in that decision.
Got a nice surprise today. My son had called me when he saw the Browning list on gunbroker and told me not to sell it and today I found out why.
Last week he called me about him being off on today good Friday and asked if I could plan to drive up to my moms so we could hook up and hit the range for a while and burn some rounds.
Got up to my mothers and they had a 55th birthday bash for me set up a week early and he pulls out the 1066 with a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Photos and a review of her is in the other thread about picking it up today + a video from the range.
Now I understand why he told me to pull the HP off the market! is that 8) or what ;D!!
That's AWESOME!
