Hey thester,
You'll find several first hand accounts on this board about members harvesting deer with the Sig 180gr 10mm V-Crown.

Based on overall performance discussed on several threads concerning the V-Crowns....  The consensous is they're quite good as a deer hunting option.

Here is one:

If you poke around, you'll find several others.
Regards!

I've done a video on sig ammo on my youtube channel Alaskan Ballistics.
In every caliber I've tried,  with longer barrels,  they tend to jacket separate badly... while I'm sure they'd kill a whitetail,  i would rather have a hot fast 155gr xtp...
