The Remington load was a bit faster than the Winchester.
Good stuff, I would like test my Mossberg 935 Magnum / coyote setup along the same lines as you are doing. Between Carlson's Coyote Choke, and HEVI-Shot Dead Coyote ammo (9 pellets) kill shots are out to 60-70 yards, however 70 might be a stretch. I have had success at 50 yards, but 70 is pushing it. Either way, it's some bad a** ammo providing your willing to pay the 4-5 per pull. In my case it's worth it, I'm not dropping dogs on every set, as they are not only educated in some areas, sometimes they just aren't around

Hey
I just checked HeviShots catalog out. Impressive ammo. I've heard some guys that shoot geese speak highly of them. You're right, $38.50 for five rounds of Dead Coyote at Cheaper than Dirt. Kinda spendy to just shoot at cardboard though.. lol.
I didn't see any specific detail regarding their wad columns, so I'm assuming the tight patterns are due to the alloy of the shot and choke..
Shooting dogs with those sounds like fun!
Yea, I paid aprx 5.00 per rd. If you aren't going through many the Tungsten is some cool stuff. $13.97 for 5 is the best price I've seen them for

Thanks for your post RDub01! Shotguns are always fun, I need to cast some more #4 and 00buck pellets again. Good on my slugs for now.
