Mine arrived and has been to the range twice. First impressions: the trigger is really good, it appears to be very well made, fit and finish are excellent.
Ran a couple of cylinders of .38s through it and switched to some Geco 158gr .357s I bought at the range. I had to pound those empties out with the plastic cartridge tray on the ejector rod :( Before I did that I noticed a small lug on the frame. When the crane is fully open, the rear of the cylinder matches up with that lug to take the stress off of the crane if you have to bang on the ejector. It's a very simple and very good idea.
Second trip to the range I ran my own .38s and .357 Remington 125gr SJHPs without issue. Tried the Geco stuff in my vintage Colt .357 and they were sticky to eject in that, so I'm looking at them as the problem. The Remington SJHPs were loaded with 19.0gr of H110. Recoil wasn't that bad, but the muzzle blast was substantial. :o
I can definitely see this one moving into the carry rotation once I have more practice with it and test out more loads/bullets.
Without pics, it doesn't exist. ;D
If I knew how, I would.
