Anyone have experience with the Powder River Extreme Trigger Kit upgrade for the Springfield XDm 9mm 4.5"
Thanks
Ken
Yes, it's a very nice trigger, but it depends on your goals and how to plan to use .... However, be very careful if you install the lightest spring. You end up with a 2lb trigger.
I started with the light spring but found I was pulling double taps unintentionally. Moved to the heavier spring which is about 3.5 lbs. This set up is better for me.
The heavier one worked better for me.
From the Power River website:
!!!WARNING!!!
This is a high performance trigger kit. It will drastically lighten the trigger pull on your pistol. Do NOT use this trigger kit if you are not an extremely experienced shooter who is familiar with shooting pistols that have an extremely light trigger pull. Do NOT use this trigger kit if you are not capable of safely using pistols that have an extremely light trigger pull. You must follow all firearm safety rules at all times. Misuse of this trigger kit can lead to injury or death.
Thanks deepblue, 3.5lb would be best for me as well : )
So deepblue / anyone else with experience using the Powder River Extreme Trigger Kit upgrade on their XDm. Do you feel the improvement was worth the cost? For me, a 3.5lb is the lightest I would go
Thanks
