Everybody here has a 10, or they wouldn't be here.
But how many use it for their carry gun? Or home defense gun?
(I mean street gun, not woods gun).
I do , it's a Big Rock.
My G20 has been my home defense pistol for 4 years. I want to be able to protect myself against a 6' 4" 300lb drugged numb "bear" breaking into my home.
This week I updated it with a Lone Wolf Timberwolf frame and Truglo TFX Pro sights. Huge improvements, both.
Woods only for me.
Every day...and for the bedside as well.
I used to carry the G-29 daily and depending on where I will be going or location. But now I carry the G-30 same IWB holster because I may likely be in a store or restaurant in close quarters.
I carried my S&W1006 some in the past but it is a heavy piece.
I will say good holsters can make the task easier for daily wear and carry...
My everyday carry weapon for the most part is the G30 / 230gr + P HST. If I am not sitting a lot, or am in the woods / fishing, I'll switch it up and carry the RIA Ultra
My EDC is a Smith M&P 9mm. But the new XDM 10mm will emit in the same holster. I still think the 10 is overpowered for human aggressors but it might be cool to pack it just once.
Absolutely is : )
G29 everyday right now,my holster for my G27 failed and I haven't gotten around to replacing it.
Carry my Colt Delta Elite every day from late Oct till mid April or till the weather warms up a bit here in WI. Then I will be carrying a 9 mm Shield or a S&W model 39 till it gets really warm out then it's a 380 Colt Mustang loaded up with Underwood +p ammo. I might also see my Colt Combat Commander XSE .45 ACP get some time in on my hip :)
My XDM gets carried and used for home defense.
I carry mine in the winter, but it is a bit bulky for concealing under lighter warm weather clothes. Might be a bit overpowered, but I really like it. A good belt makes the weight of the pistol easy to deal with.
Absolutely, my thick and wide leather belt makes all the difference
I am thinking ill go back to my 1076 in the next week or so.. It's been awhile since I have carried it, Currently an HK VP40..
I frequently carry my old Department 1076 in a custom shoulder rig. Single stack guns work well with Miami style rigs.
G29 with a TLR-6(AWIB) -- every day, and have it on now. Put it on this morning around 7:15 AM. :)
G29 with a Pearce +2 grip extender in a Vedder light tuck carried at 1:00. Almost every day. Exceptions to this are work days where the G20 gets to ride in a pancake holster at 4:00, and Sunday when I go "small" with a G27, but only as long as I have the suit on. As soon as I get back from services I am back to a G29 or G20.
carry a R.I.A 10mm or glock daily. looking at new one
I carry my Dan Wesson CBOB 10 mm 50% of the time . Man I love that pistol!
The rest of the time its my Kimber micro 9 with laser grips
I carried my G29 daily for about 5 years. Since then my work attire has changed and makes IWB carry cumbersome at best.
So now I pocket carry a SIG P365 with 124 +p HSTs.

I almost always carry a Dan Wesson Vbob custom in 10mm for both work and off duty.
Home defense - check...Dan Wesson 10mm Razorback in biometric lock pistol safe in nightstand beside bed.
In the colder months (coats & layers); not uncommon for G-20 and ossasionslly DW Razorback to get carried.
In the woods.... G-20 gets caried.
SR1911 and GP100 are in the carry rotation, along with a 1911, VP9, XDs 9mm, BHP and a S&W 629 Mountain Gun.
I'm fickle.

Wouldn't it be better to just carry one gun every day? That way if the thugs jump on you, you don't hve to figure out which one you're carrying . . . "Let's see, it's Wednesday, so it must be the VP9?"
Absolutely, sounds like a smart plan to me
