Title: Tanfo rear sight removal
Post by: sw70 on March 23 2019 10:57:25 PM MDT
Trying to remove the Supersight on my P Match Pro, which direction should I be pushing it?  I've read left to right, and right to left, and now I'm just confused.  Any of you know the "real" answer?  Lol! :D

For anyone else:  Remove elevation screw, flip blade up, remove or loosen the two set screws underneath it (note:  These SOBs are in there tight!) may have to use some heat to remove them.  Push sight from left to right (sight should come out on the ejection port side (note: that SOB is in there tight, highly recommend a sight pusher tool).  I had to call it bad names, and threaten it with physical violence during the removal process.  YMMV.

MY witness P match pro sa/da 10mm super sight was removed from right to left and came off opposite side of ejection port. My site worked looose after about five boxes of Magtech 180gr.

The sight wouldn't come out the right side of the dovetail, and the set screws loose. Customer service said use BLUE locktite and I did. So far so good.  :)
