Title: What Can You Tell Me About This 10MM

Kimber - 2019 Shot Show Special Custom II GFO 10mm

Supposedly only a few are being made. Is this just a regular TLE with a fiber optic front sight?

Looks that way. Has the older rubber grips. Under $700 at Sportsmanoutdoorsuperstore.

I don't know, but I think, for the money, if it were me, I'd add a couple bucks and buy the SR1911 in 10mm
A lot more Gun for the the money

Yeah I was curious about it also but considering I have a Ruger I did not ask.

The kimber is a nice pistol. It has better case support and a better trigger.
I had an eclipse in 10mm.  I ditched it for a delta elite. I had problems with the pistol and bigger problems with Colt.
I sold the delta elite, and bought a sr1911 target. I admit I only have 300 rounds through it but I am on the look out
for a used kimber 10mm.
Just my opinion but I think the kimber is a nicer gun, feels smoother and any example I have checked out has a better trigger than the 2 or 3 rugers i have examined.
I should probably save and look for a 10mm valor but I will probably end up grabbing a kimber if I see one.
I had never seen this particular model but I am definitely curious.

  Regards, Russ

I was wondering if this was a special run. But I have been told it is not a special run that it is a regular custom II with fiber front sight is all. Anyone know if this is true?

If you buy a Kimber I would strongly suggest a 23 pound recoil spring from Wolff Gunsprings. They are inexpensive and will save your slide from battering if you shoot a steady diet of the hot stuff (the slide on my Eclipse exhibits some battering).

Edit: It does look like a regular TLE with the fiber optic.

Just orderd the 23# spring, thanks for the tip.

Not sure what Kimber did for sure with this one but it looks to me to be a standard custom II with the old grips and GFO front sight added.
