Never had one.  Have read several positive reviews of them.  Supposedly they are VERY strong.

They have been out of production for quite some time now, I know one fellow 10mm enthusiast that like his very much, was accurate and reliable.  Trying to find parts should something break could be difficult!  ???

That price point is on the high side in my opinion!

Yeah...I was thinking the price was a little high as well.  Seems to be supported by the lack of bids.

Supposedly stronger than a 1006.

That makes sense.  I have never seen one of the 10mm but any Star Pistol I have ever picked up just seemed too heavy, somewhat like the steel framed Kahrs.  Weight in a 10mm is not always a bad thing, I love shooting my Springfield Omega  longslide with ports.

I have a few and I like them.  The price is high even in todays market.  No parts avialable.  Mags are like almost impossible to find.  They were made in both Starvel (Nickel) and Blue.  The blue seems to be a bit harder to find.  Less made?

On the plus side they are buildt like tanks.  Very heavy which soaks up recoil better than almost any other 10mm.  Not what I would call a carry piece though.  Unless your very fond of big and heavy.  The grip is a good size for the double stack mag (14 rounds).  Kind of like G20 size.

I personaly would not pay over like $650 for one.  It is more of a H. D. gun or a range toy than anything.

Thanks for the replies.  I really was not interested in this pistol at any price unless I was told it was a good deal.

I finally picked up a Bren Ten in January after chasing them for 10 years.  If I purchase another 10mm it will either be a "High-End Something" or the new Bren if it ever materializes.

That said I am always interested in any Special edition Colt in 10mm.

And since the mags are hard to find and he mentions nothing about spare mags (But has one pictured so I assume you would get ONE!), I would think I would try to source a few more mags before I bid on one.

But I'm easy, both my 10mm pistols take 1911 style mags, so I have LOTS of them.
