Title: Suppressed 10mm
Post by: TXCOONDOG on February 17 2019 10:01:17 AM MST
Any of you running suppressed 10mm pistols ?

What suppressor are you running ?

Which pistol ?

Subs or full power loads and bullet weight ?

Thanks in advance.

Well, if I could get a barrel for my Witness I would be.  So, I'll have to wait for someone to make one, or EAA to bring in some longer barrels so I can thread one, or save up for another gun with a threaded barrel before I can.  Can is a Rugged Obsidian .45, I'll probably just run full power.  If I want super quiet I'll go with subs in 9mm or .45 ACP.
Sorry, not much help.

Yep, Glock 20 long slide with a Silencerco Osprey 45 can.

I have a Hybrid currently in jail that I'll be running on my Glock 20SF with an Alpha Wolf barrel. Planning on only using subs.

You need a 45 can for a 10mm supers, if you'll only run subs then 40 cal cans are ok

Not sure why but I saw that 45 cans that can be run wet are not suposed to be run wet with 10mm--- speed? Pressure? Both?

Been looking at the Hybrid 46.

I just got my Hybrid in Tuesday. Nice. Can, very modular but heavy compared to the Osprey and most of my other pistol cans.

That's been my biggest concern with the Hybrid, hanging 17oz off the end of a pistol. All my cans are Ti and the heaviest weighs 12oz. Have you ran full power 10mm loads through the Osprey 45 ?

Yes I routinely run Underwood 200 grain HST and 220 grain hard cast through it. I use the can on it when hunting.
