Time to start a new adventure with another Dan Wesson 10. Since learning about DW announcing the end of the Valor Series, I felt that it was time to step up and get one. In 10mm natch. 8)
First things first. Since I'm not made of $$$, I had to sell my 10mm Razorback. She's been an awesome gun, never leaving me hangin. But, if I get the Valor, I don't feel that I need the Razorback.
Had it on Armslist for a couple of weeks, got a few lowball offers.
Monday I get a text from a local guy who was serious. We met tonight and finished the deal, and I'm sure that she's going to a great home.
So, the best price that I found was on GB from twogunjay. Last year I bought a DW Valkyrie 9mm from him and the deal was very smooth.
Guess that I went back to that trough and bought my Valor from him.
I expect that he'll treat me just as good.
I'll keep y'all up to speed on the progress. I'm hoping to have it by this weekend.
Looking forward to seeing your new firearm. The Valor is a solid gun!
Congratulations
I've been thinking about a Valor in 10mm myself.

I'm curious, why the Valor over the Razorback?

I prefer the front checkering and the different sights.
And theres always something better about a brand new gun. :D ;D :))
My RAZORBACK treated me well and got me in the door as my 1st Dan Wesson. Not my last by any stretch.
'ol 2gunjay treated me right with good service and the best deal that I could find to boot.Took a week from payment till she was in my hand.
Took her home that night after pickin her up from my FFL, and cleaned and lubed her up right.
I have a personal rule about shootin a new gun within 24 hrs, so I got off work early and went to my shootin spot. Put 150 rnds of Magtech 180 through her with nary a problem. Except for the shooter havin his thumb on the slide lock ! :P
Since then I've run another 100 rnds down the pipe and she still makes me smile.
Definitely always fun with a new toy. Just picked up a Ruger 10mm last week, waiting on FP10 and dry weather! Carrying my RZ most days.

She has been awesome. The checkering on the front and rear combines with the grips to feel like she won't move at all when she fires.
Last weekend we did a family trip to Cabela's. I got a set of shooting sticks and am real anxious to try some long range shootin with it.
Now, if it would just stop snowin.
I'm not a fan of goin to the shootin range and prefer to go to my favorite spot about 1/2 mile down the road onto some BLM land. There's a nice box canyon there where I can get out over 300 yrds. Not that I'm gunna try that!
She's my (current ;D ) favorite.
