Title: I Have 2 10mm Pistols.
Post by: gandog56 on February 28 2013 02:56:22 PM MST
Both of them 1911 style pistols.

First, a Dan Wesson Razorback equipped with a set of Crimson Trace Laser Grips.

Why I love the laser grips. 21 feet with my 185 grain 10mm reloads.

And this one is so new I haven't even taken it to the range yet. A custom built Fusion Firearms long slide (6") Traditional Hunter, with a black oxide finish, and fully adjustable fiber optic sights. If they don't work as good as the Laser Grips, I'll put another set of CT's on it.

You NEED one more.  Something compact.  An officers or a CCO sized 1911 would fit the bill, as would a Glock 29.  Then you will really be "well rounded".

I LOVE that Fusion.  I seriously considered that model over my Kimber, but just couldn't swing the extra money.

Funny, I was saying the same thing about a Kimber. But a big night on the boat put a couple spare thousand bucks in my wallet and I said why not?

The grips on that Fusion are gorgeous.  Forget the CT...

It was one of the 4 grips he offered to put on it. I chose those because they looked the best to me, and they didn't cost any more than the others.

It's fun to have options.

Actually I was looking at the new CT's with the green laser. It mounts on the front trigger guard and you could still see the cool wood grips!

That's funny, since so did I. I just came up with the cash needed to get the Fusion.

I'm just not seeing a compact ten at this time. Maybe if I hit the lottery and want a larger cal carry gun.......10mm sounds intriguing then.
