Title: Is this a decent guide rod?
Post by: Overkill338 on October 29 2018 09:35:16 PM MDT
Was surfing fleaBay and ran across this stainless guide rod for $18.99 . Does this look sturdy enough to bet my life on it? What would be the best springs to get after it? Is it 19 or 20 lbs I need for just improving recoil characteristics a little with Underwood's hard hitters?

Be sure that it is the one that fits your generation model, there is a big hole in the slide of the 4th gen guns where the recoil rod sits.

I was forgetting about that part. Thank you Shadow!

I got a 21# non captive set from Wolff Springs. Works like a dream.

Around $35 though. Handles 40sw with no problem.
