Didn't kill a single deer last season but off to a good start this year.Spike dropped in its tracks and the 8 point went about 60yds(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20181025/88aefbd8b2ede06cc2b9e4d353cdec4d.jpg)

The Spike dropped in it tracks, bullet entered high right shoulder clipped backbone and exited left rib cage midway up deer.8 point ran 60 with a double lung shot

Congrats Hudson! Thanks for sharing the info! Did the 180 grain Federal Trophy Bonded Jacketed Soft Point exit? Were they recovered? If so did they show expansion?

Great job!
Couple recent threads about 180gr XTP & V Crown, 200gr XTP and Hardcast bullets in hunting
applications and those seeking two (entrance & exit) wounds. Think the Federal Trophy Bond was
also referenced as good choice. This example would certainly seem to support that hypothesis.

Yes um happy with them so far,I'm sure they expanded a little as the exit wounds were bigger than the entrance
