I see that TCB fired these in an old video. Has anyone tried these in more recent times in gel or hunting applications? Don't hear much about them, but I think they might provide excellent terminal results. Still have never found any testing of them through tough barriers like auto glass though. Not sure why Barnes loading of its own ammo is so weakly loaded. I tried a box with clear ballistics gel and 2 rounds didn't even open up with clothing material over the gel.
I have only tested with the 140 TAC-XP and it was more for velocity from other powders, The ones that hit the water jugs opened as advertised and one that went into dirt berm failed to open.
The Buffalo Bore 155 TAC-XP loading in our pull-down was the scariest I had ever seen, as the load was a very compressed load of Power Pistol. :o The Powder was jamb packed tight, had to scrape it out to get the weight. They were close to the advertise velocity and never heard of anyone blowing up their gun.

That being said when I had a guy crunch the numbers in Quick Loads Program it was even more scary...

Those 155gr Buffalo Bore Barnes are bad boys! :))
Seen videos of Razor Dobbs using DoubleTap's 155gr Barnes bullets to take deer, wild boar & elk and DT's not loaded as hot as BB.
Matter of fact, you'll note if you review BB's webpage he's current production 10mm 155gr lead free Barnes ammo has been watered down just a bit from the hairy edge stuff Shadow is referencing above.
In anything less than Griz. country I would and have carried the BB 155gr Barnes 10mm.
Good to hear
