Gang,
I have been drooling over this gun for a while now and slush fund willing, it is in my sights. It will be my first EAA. Anyone got one and can give me a good idea of its characteristics? and maybe a pic? :D
Yes! We have a member here that has put up some eye-candy :P Don't get me thinking ???

wow, ok, that is a beautiful pistol. I would leave the wood grips on though just cause i'm a wood guy. Gotta have one, thanks
Absolutely, the wood grips for sure : )
It looks amazing with the Walnut panels. If I were to change any Witness over to another grip... these:

Stock grips are a tad to thick for me.

Well if you like the thinner feal, then they should work until you decide otherwise
ok, its settled, that is one fantastic looking pistol. Are some of those vz grips? and which gun are they made for? the cz75 grips fit?
Vz doesn't make grips for Tanfo's.
Lok does.
1st pic are some I made with grip tape.
2nd pic is Tanfo extreme' s
3rd & 4th are Lok's
Never heard of Lok, gonna have to look them up thanks
Looks like LOK makes some nice stuff, and their prices are reasonable too
I own one. Bought it about 2 years ago???
Love this pistol. It looks awesome and shoots better than any of my other 10mm's I've had- at least for me. I guess that is why i got rid of the others and kept this one.
I love the wood grips, but they move around in my hands when they get slippery with sweat. They are NOT aggressive at all.
I have a set of hennings aluminum grips (orange) on it and they offer a great grip - first time using aluminum grips on a pistol...
By the way I tried the lok grips and could not keep them from moving around on the frame no matter how hard i tightened them down. They seem to sit on top of the frame rather than fitting within the cutouts. At least that is what i remember from messing with them. I had to have been about 1 twist from cracking them and they just kept moving around.
Sticking with the hennings for now.
I followed some advice I received from this forum when I first purchased it.
Replaced the return spring guide rod with a cone end one.
Upped the return spring weight to 22# or 24#.
I made my own decision and replaced the front sight with a dawson precision fiber optic - like that a lot better than the solid black blade that it comes with.
