Found at Cabela's today! Good Ole S&B makes it for them. I didn't get the JHP version and suspect these FMJ's to equal the S&B version.

I am sure there will be a range report forthcoming.
Glad to see more manufacturers coming out with 10mm ammo, even if it is weak sauce.
What did you pay for those, IC?
Thanks guys, if the price is right & it performs well, then hey 😊
$17.99 and the JHP's were $22.99
10mm Auto 180 Grain FMJ 1,164 fps 543 ft. lbs. Good practice ammo.
No mention of JHP ammo by Herter's... ???
At $18.00 for 50 rd's, absolutely worth looking into, Thanks man!
I wonder if their website is behind what's on the shelf? If I recall correctly they had Herter's Self Defense in other calibers like 9mm as well. It's a red box... I picked it up, opened the flap and slid one of the 25 packs out to look at the hollow point. It was the same design as the S&B which prompted me to just put it back.
I went up that way to do a return today and stopped in Cabela's again. They for sure don't have the website updated to the stores! Here is the 10mm JHP's

They had Herter's brand JHP in all the popular calibers as well.
I think Herter's is a Cabelas exclusive.
Correct. Made by S&B.
How would this compare with UW's range supply?, it's only two dollars less
It will have less velocity and you can shoot it all day. I use something like this a little scaled back when I'm checking my sight adjustments out. It's good bang for the buck!
Thanks Intercooler, will give them a try
I can confirm Herters is S&B but the JHP is a bit hotter I will be publishing a video soon. The powder used across both is LOVEX D036.07 all to be published soon but Intercooler beat me to it :)
The will likely be about the same velocity, here is why... The FMJ is a more compact bullet as compared to the JHP which is slightly longer due to its Hollow point design to be the same weight.
That being said the FMJ loading will have slightly more powder because the bullet is shorter over all leaving a little more space inside the casing. To make a specific velocity range with that 180 grain FMJ bullet and then you consider that the 180 grain JHP is a longer bullet, if using the same charge weight of powder, the pressures would be higher an so to would be velocities.
Also the powder is a LOVEX type...There are several D036 blends... D036.01 / D036.03 / D036.07 Shooters World also sells LOVEX Powders under rebranded names...

Wowser! I guess I never put the photos in, but just did because I'm going to make these one of my first Chrony tests I didn't get completed before!
Chrony results:
EAA Limited 4.75" barrel 1159, 1133, 1140, 1149, 1142. Average = 1145 FPS/ 524 LBS
EAA Super Match 6" barrel 1185, 1176, 1190, 1180, 1199. Average = 1186 FPS/ 562 LBS
