Honestly. I love this website. I was sitting around one day and was thinking "man, I really wish I had a pure 10mm forum to go to."
So I made one. 113 members in 11 days.
Best decision ever.
We ain't hatin' it either. ;)
I think it will be a great site. Good job
Thus far, it looks like a hit. We have good information coming in, the atmosphere is mature, and there are quite a few posts.
I'm reminded of the old ElsiePeaForum, and that is a good thing.
I guess my logged time shows I am pretty happy about it too. I was afraid when another 10mm site merged it would eventually be swallowed and become a dusty sub-forum. It took a few years but my fears were being realized.
This is a great place and I am thrilled with the growth. Like the 10mm, perhaps this forum will be the online 10mm communities second wind!
Been spreadin' the link around! Glad to see many of the people steppin' into the arena! ;D
Great idea and it's going great! I do like talking with others that have the same firearms, but for the Witness guns we don't have a Glock board. I think here we will still get that due to it being dedicated for 10's. This makes it easier for me to learn other firearms that may interest me and what makes them function better. I think this will help bring it all together and make it much easier for me to share the ammo info than posting different places.
I did a search once and most other boards at least knew of intercooler even if I wasn't a member there.
Been spreading the word around at all of my local hangouts as well.
Why do some sights zap them?
I haven't had any delete if that is wha you mean. But a few have dogged the thread, poking fun. If they don't get it that's fine. I'm good natured about and let them have their fun. But at least the threads have brought a few in which is good for the forum.
If a site deletes the link its usually because they have a policy prohibiting it or they don't want any competition.
I posted a link to this website on the AR forum with th 10mm subsection. They were pissed. I got a nasty email. I sent a message back explaining my reasons for creating this website such as non 10mm members posting in the 10mm section, usually negative comments. This caused what was once a great place for 10mm fans to dry up and die. Their response was to ban my account.
Well I said my peace on why I will stay put here versus there on the AR board. Half the time I couldn't remember the link to navigate there if it was a different PC.
Ya know, a certain somebody here is a mod on that other 10mm forum. I still hold out hope that we can regain control of the 10mmtalk.com domain name and point it here. I wish I had been at a different place in my life when 10mmtalk got absorbed by the AR forum. If that same scenario happened today I would be a position to just put it on my server, or help fund something on a VM in the cloud.
While I am glad to be here, I do lament a little bit the knowledge that was available there using the search feature.
Yes it was. I love this site and all things 10mm. I look at 3 now 4 forums daily and this one is my favorite! I do not post much but I am here.
Hey Grim:
Now you wan't have to drink the blue kool-aid now! LOL
Way to go, it's a great site so far! I'm enjoying it.

That's about what you could expect. I have never met an AR forum that I liked. They all seem the same although one is definitely the main attraction for immature morons.
If you don't have one of the top rated guns, then just go away.
You got a question? Well you should have done a search first and not bothered us with this again.
When they do get going, the main topic is soon forgotten and off they go again twisting the thread into something totally unrelated and squabbling like idiots.
Getting away from that scene is a good thing.
"Never argue with an idiot, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience".

Uh, you were, do! ;D
And I was like, "ah crap, here's ANOTHER site dedicated to the 10 mm, wait, wait a second, wahoo
