For me it is a very easy choice. Whatever I get the cheapest 8)
That would be 180gr FMJ American Eagle. I also shoot a Mag or two of the good stuff while there (Underwood 155 or 180 TMJ).
For me it is 7 grains of Unique under a Lee 175 Gr SWC TL lubed with LLA. Easy quick, and economical at $15.99/1000.
Lately I have been running a fair big of 8.5 grains of Blue Dot under a 205 grain RFN lubed with Felix. But I don't have a 6 cavity mold for this bullet, so it takes longer to make a stack.
I like 11.0 gr. BD pushing a 180 gr. LFP (old Lee) with Thompson Blue hybrid lube (my recipe), CCI 300, C.O.L. 1.260", .420" taper. Very accurate, consistent and clean. Moves along just shy of 1300 FPS (1280, IIRC) in a G20, and about 100 faster through the Ruger. If I want less than a full power load, I just shoot .40's. Same bullet, with 6.0 gr. Unique, CCI 500, C.O.L. 1.130", 1000-1050 FPS, depending on the pistol.
Where do you guys purchase your ammo? I'm new to the 10mm world and an considering a Gen4 G29.

How are you getting them for 16/1k, my primers alone cost more than that.
Lead for free, trade lead for primers to a friend that has a huge back stock. All I am paying for is powder.
I've been using Georgia Arms "Canned Heat" new rounds. Nearly used up the first 1000 round can, about to buy another.

Thats cheating. I would never go to work if I could shoot that cheap, only reason I go now is to make money to buy more bullets/powder/primers.
I have six kids who for some reason all like to eat daily. Shooting cheap is the only way I get to.
Bitteroot Valley Ammunition & Components :o
Luis, you may want to check out Georgia Arms. They have similar loads and pricing to what BVAC had when they were direct to the public, but the shipping would probably be cheaper as they would be closer to you.
If I had not started reloading, BVAC was on my list after my first batch from Georgia Arms ran dry. At that time BVAC had benches at the gunshows here in SLC.
10mm Auto, BVAC, 180 Grain Full Metal Jacket Bullet, 500 Round Box, 1100 fps.
http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/AMM-5832#Reviews $185.79 :D
Georgia Arms $200.00 :o
Like I said, worth checking. Shipped to upstate NY there is only $8.30 difference today. As component prices fluctuate they go back and forth on who is cheaper to the door.
Easy: my personal handload of 5.5gr HP38 (W231) under a 180gr Rainier HP. ONE HOLE accurate at 25 yards and powder puff recoil.

That ought to be pretty close to the original FBI ballistics for 10mm. Some would boo-hoo that load as short and weak. Not going to hear that from me. Light recoil and great accuracy are a plus for lots of types of shooting.
We are talking factory ammo unless you are loading for all of us 8)

His factory is like mine...Limited clientele.
:P
I like the Prvi a lot.
Dirt cheap, reliable, shoots accurate, burns clean and with it being downloaded won't beat you up running through a few hundred rounds like the hotter stuff will. Easier over time on my Glock also.
Underwood

Till my reloading lineup is finished (have a Forster Press, manuals and dies). Just need a few more things.
My favorite is Underwood too but Bro's deals are just hard to beat 8)
You almost... almost have as much Underwood as me but you have just one caliber. I have 9mm, .357, .44 and 10mm. ;D
So, is that 1250 round of Underwood, or is there something else behind?
Either way, if it is all 10, you are in good shape.
It's all 10mm, I think I got 200 rounds of 357Sig also on the left.

That's exactly where I'm at, and the few more things are in transit. Took a while, but I've finally pretty much made it to the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel. Still more things I want, but the main thing is I will be able to start handloading early next week. 8)
Welcome to the addiction. Look forward to seeing you more often one category down in the list!

Are you buying your Hazmat stuff online or locally? If online who has the best prices?
PowderValley INC. has fair pricing...http://powdervalleyinc.com/ (http://powdervalleyinc.com/)

Online only for me. I prefer Graf & Sons ( http://www.grafs.com/ (http://www.grafs.com/) ) for everything hazmat and for almost all stuff reloading in general.
I like Graf & Sons because they charge a flat shipping charge of $5.95 and their prices are always GOOD - EXCELLENT.
I did a quick comparison between Powder Valley that TheShadow mentioned above and Graf & Sons, limited to Hazmat items;
GRAF & SONSWinchester LP Primers (1000 ct) = $26.99
Hodgdon Longshot Powder (1 lb) = $19.99
IMR 800X Powder (1 lb) = $18.39
Hazmat Fee = $27.50
Shipping = $5.95Total Cost of Order = $98.82POWDER VALLEYWinchester LP Primers (1000 ct) = $26.00
Hodgdon Longshot Powder (1 lb) = $17.70
IMR 800X Powder (1 lb) = $16.00
Hazmat Fee = $27.50
Shipping = $9.95Total Cost of Order = $97.15Like I said earlier, Graf & Sons charges $5.95 per order for shipping no matter how much stuff you buy.
Anything under a $150 order from Powder Valley is $9.95, and goes up from there.
Not trying to sell you on either online store, just throwing up some general FYI.
Thanks you guys!!
It helps to buy in bulk and share orders. Last time I ordered surplus powder from Pat's Reloading I think I bought about 80 lbs. They ate the hazmat on an order that large, and I had about 4 friends to divide the powder with.
I need to convince those same guys they all need some WC820 (pull down AA#9).
