So while watching videos on YouTube, TNoutdoors9 posted he was in contact with a federal ammunition rep and was told the +p variant is being fased out due to the good performance of the standard pressure counterpart. It's even removed on their law enforcement page too...if you prefer the +p variant, stock up!

Wow, that's unusual! Maybe some newer bullets will replace the HST? ???
If you like the bullet, American Reloading has been shoving these HST bullets out the door for months as pulled bullets. I've bought a bunch of the 180gr HST .40 calibers and they shoot real tight at 25 yds. The 9mm 147gr HST they have now at $54.00 per 500 shipped to your door. If your a reloader, here's yer chance at a great bullet at a great price. Watch for their sales too. Sometimes they have as much as 30% off of the already cheap price. They also have the HST in 40 and 45 caliber, subject to availability.

Thanks Trapper, that's great price

That was 7 years ago....tnoutdoors9 hasn't made a YouTube video in like 2 years now.
This ammo is still available at Ammunition Depot. Unfortunately the price is up to $40 per 50box plus shipping. I bought a bunch (at earlier, lower prices).

FWIW, I've retired my 10 and am shooting, starting this summer, an M&P9 that I'm VERY pleased with. This is my first Wimpy9.

9's are way fun to shoot, but still favor my 10's
They discontinued their entire line of the HST tactical bonded even more recently.
The standard pressure 147 gets better numbers in tests, so why get the extra recoil and blast for nothing?
