Title: G20 / 29 Factory barrel for carry purposes
Post by: Kenk on July 05 2018 03:29:33 PM MDT
For carry purposes with your G20's and 29's, is it safe to assume the factory barrel is best, saving the KKM or other aftermarket barrels for throwing lead downrange? I know with my G20 factory barrel, nothing seems to hinder it's ability
Thanks

Ken

The only issue with a glock barrel is the chamber is a bit loose....this is for reliability.

It effect mostly reloaders as the brass gets worked more

I see nothing else wrong with the stock barrel

Most of my Aftermarket Barrels are of various calibers or cartridges for use in the Glock platform and that also includes 10mm barrel.
As a handloader, I load, develop loads with various powders and shoot my own but also test factory ammo through both factory and aftermarket barrels to get a better idea of how things are working. ::)  The factory barrel helps show where the limits of expansion is for various brass cases.
I carry with the factory barrels in which ever one I'm carrying. :D
