loaded so 180 gr. xtp with 9.0 of longshot light crimp with lee fcd die
do you think this looks ok? RIA 10mm ultra

Never used Longshot before.  Did you weight each charge or did you use a powder measure?  Very close spread on the velocities.

Beam scale explains the results.  I use an RCBS beam scale that I purchased back in the early 80s.

9.2 shot really well in my RIA 5" yesterday-didn't chrono (was at an indoor public range). 3x fired S&B brass showed no pressure signs.

Other loads tried successfully were MBC 180gr coated TC w/9.2, and MBC 200gr coated TC's and Doubletap 200gr WFNGC's. Both 200gr loads did well at 8.2gr.
I'm expecting to see 1250fps+ for the 180 loads and 1150+ for the 200's.

200 WFNGC's were loaded 1.230 for feeding, everything else 1.255".

9 grains of Longshot and a 180 grain slug is my standard. I don't know why I even bother to try anything else.

Greetings, I've had good results with 9.3gr longshot out of my G20 and 2011 under a 180gr precision delta
