I'm new to the forum and would like some help on load data.
I bought 75 rnds of reloaded 10mm ammo from an estate sale.
The labels on the boxes say
150gr Sierra jhp, w/ 10.0 gr blue-dot.
Which is what is in the boxes as far as I can see.
Could someone approximate for me what the feet per second would be and possible chamber pressure?
Also I mic'ed them out and the OAL of the cartridges on many are 1.265".
Could that extra .005 cause cycling issues?
I've run some web searches without much success so I hope the veteran 10mm folks here can help.
I run a Glock G20 with a stock barrel and an Alphawolf 6" barrel.
I prefer the 6inch barrel for field use and the stock for home.
Any help and your thoughts and comments would be appreciated.

From the Lyman manual #48, for a 155gr Winchester bullet using Blue Dot powder, the lowest load they have is 9.7grs Blue Dot which yields 1158'ps from a 5" barrel. That's pretty close to ballpark I think. The OAL, if you have the dies, I'd seat them a hair deeper to avoid any issues. If you don't have the dies, try 'em, it might like 'em. But my expectations are that the gun is not going to run at all. Not near enough powder to make the slide eject and load another round.
I would concur with what Trapper6L had to say for the most part. The COAL is a little troubling as it's over length and completely unnecessary to load a short bullet like a 150gr Sierra JHP that long. I'd be tempted to question the skills of the person that put those together. I don't think I'd shoot those until I pulled a couple and weighed the charges and the bullets. BlueDot is pretty easy to identify, look for the blue dots. If they are what the labels indicate, you could reseat them at 1.250 and they'll burn a little better and maybe actually run your gun. Any time you shoot reloads without knowing their history it's a crapshoot. Even commercial reloads might not be what they say on the box if someone just reused the box.
I agree with Graybeard, I would pull the bullets and reload the brass with a known load and known COAL. It's not like there are thousands of them. Why risk it?

I had thought along the same lines about pulling slugs and checking charges and now it looks like I'll need reloading dies sooner than later ( :D) and an up to date manual.
(I only reload my 41 mag and I haven't changed loads much over the years.)

Don't like shooting unknown ammo... either my own or someone I know that has good loading practices.
The fact that they are overly long right away would make me suspect the loader.
But on the good side, you still have 75 heads and cases to reload when they are pulled.
I would pull them for sure. They may be fine, but wouldn't chance it personally
