I don't have it yet, but found someone with a Witness barrel and some 9x25 ammo. It was something I always wanted to try and 6" is perfect. Hopefully it pans out okay and the barrel has plenty of support.
These will be the first tests ASAP and I hope to find some more for testing.

Very cool. Been shooting all the available ammo in my Glock 20L - love to see the numbers!
Anyone know what barrel length Underwood rates the 9x25 on?
IC, the testing data is likely 6" tube... here is some data tested via three different barrel lengths...
Underwood vs. Double Tap Gold Dot 125 JHP
Barrel 6" LWD Velocity Energy Ft/Lb

Underwood 1588 700
Double Tap 1498 623
Barrel 3.8" LWD Velocity Energy Ft/Lb
Underwood 1522 643
Double Tap 1430 568
Box listed Velocity was for 6" barrel
Underwood 1700 fps

Why was the DT so low? :-X
DT has less Longshot powder in theirs... ::)
It will be interesting to see what UW is stuffing their with in your sample...
We have seen Longshot in some and IMR800X in the past. Will these have some other powders? ???
I posted another thread showing the barrel versus a 10mm. Does anyone have any pre/post brass measurements I can compare what he sent me with the barrel?

The Xtreme Defender will be very interesting to look inside...the others too to see if they changed from previous powder and charge weights.
I have the barrel in and ready to go! The only problem is rain, rain, rain and more rain! Next week is looking good from Tuesday on ;D
The only thing I saw in messing with it was a missing guide rod dimple on the end of the peanut. This is mainly to anchor that end and if it should create some issue the first session I will Dremel one there.
It looks like all of these Underwood rounds made the numbers if they're based on a 6" barrel. The 9x25 seemed to be softer shooting and this barrel setup ran good!

Yes, Underwood uses a 6" barrel for 9x25 and a 5" for 10mm.
I'm hoping to catch a DT sale on 9x25's :)
How has DT survived after years of greatly inflating their velocities? Why can't they just be honest 🤔
