Title: Truglo TFX pro sights
Post by: Goetztalon on May 03 2018 02:07:24 PM MDT
I'm pretty sure I'm going with the truglo TFX pros for a sight upgrade on my Glock 20 and was wondering if anyone had some experience with them? I'm going to install myself so I would be thankful for any suggestions. Thanks!

I have the older TFOs on an M&P. Front sight came apart a few weeks ago. Not exactly speedy reply to warranty inquiry, but they did come through and replace it. Hopefully, the version you're considering are a little tougher and have addressed those issues. They do work well in daylight and the dark. I'd suggest going with the different color front and rear. That really works well in darker conditions. As far as installation goes, use a sight pusher. Don't try to pound them on with a punch. It's easy to get carried away and crack a tritium vial.

Have had a set of TFOs on a G19 for over 5 years with zero issues.  I have put them on several friends guns with no failures.  A friend put a set of the TFX Pros on a G29 and no issues but he did sell the gun after putting only about 200 rounds through it.

My favorite day/night sight...
