Title: Can .38 Super be reamed to 9x25?
Post by: Intercooler on January 03 2018 07:23:11 AM MST
I think The Shadow's PC might still be down and I know he has the answer. I found this barrel for my Limited. Just want to verify and see who does this work.

Well crap. I see not many MFG's make 9x25 ammo and probably not worth testing the couple out there.

Yes, my personal computer is still dead. :(   Been working on the wife's computer and a NOOK at times...so I don't have access to all of my files.  Also my refrigerator was on the blink, had to replace it...that was made difficult because after 25+ years the wall water valve started to leak when I turned it off to disconnect the old refrigerator's ice maker.  Changed the valve and then the small brass ferrels wouldn't seal on the poly water tube.  Went to the hardware and got a different type teflon ferrel with the brass inserts to go inside the tube.  That did the trick, so I could install the new refrigerator without any leaks... :D

IC, and I chatted on FB about this topic... Not many ammo makers making 9x25Dillon commercially and many times they can be out of stock...  :(   This is yet another reason many of us reload!

The 38Super barrel can be reamed to 9x25Dillon...
No once reamed the 38Super can not be used due to the chamber being too large...
