Title: Inbound Encore MGM 10mm carbine barrel
Post by: Ramjet on December 14 2017 11:34:44 AM MST
I ordered a 18" MGM custom barrel for my TC encore frame in 10mm. Should be fun to play around with do some comparison to the various semi auto guns I have now. Range report forthcoming when I get the barrel.

Cool project but why 18" instead if 16"?

Recieved my frame and I mounted the barrel. Nice tight chamber and I mounted the collapsable stock for this little carbine. Put a Ultradot on it and ran a variety of loads from 200 Grain WFN to Lehigh controlled chaos ammo. All of the ammo was incredibly accurate. The recoil is very low and this gem is very handi. MGM really makes a fine barrel I was hooting offhand at 35 yards printing 3-3.5" groups. The little carbine seemed to like the 155 XTP ammo. But the 200 Grain WFN shot very well. Hopefully the temps will rise so I can do some chronograph and bench work with the handi little rifle.
