In case this appeals to anyone. 9x25 Dillon 7" barrel from kkm will be arriving soon to pop in my new G40 Glock long slide. I'll post some real ballistics with 90gr and 125gr underwood ammo. Expecting around 2100 :o and 1800 fps respectively. Next project after that will be 9x25 AR from ron Williams so I can use the same ammo and mags. Sound cool? For those unfamiliar, 9x25 Dillon is a 10mm necked down to 9mm and adds a good 50 ft/lbs of energy, way more velocity and improved feeding you get from a bottlenecked cartridge.
I'm interested! Did you get it threaded for a suppressor or muzzle break?
If you make the AR for it I am also interested! There's a 9x30 Dillon that was made and it is just a 10mm auto magnum necked down to 9mm. That is something I keep thinking would be epic in an AR! So hearing about your 9x25 would definitely help me plan my very long term future idea of a 9x30 Dillon AR.
I also have some interest here!!
I wish I had grabbed a 9x25 bbl when they went on sale...

If you don't get there, you should be close to those numbers with that 7" barrel.
Underwood 124gr XTP went 1728fps from my 6" barrel and my hand loads with the 90gr XTP flew 2018fps.

OH I am in veery interested in this. Makes a 327 Federal mag look paltry.
I didn't get it threaded. I reqested a threaded 8" barrel. Kkm would only do 7" unthreaded. They said 7" is max and threads for suppressor not advised because 9x25 pressures to high for suppressor. Suppressor wouldn't do much for 2000 fps rounds anyway. Still super excited to get this blaster up and running. Thanks for the interest!
The 9x25D 7" pipe is in. Glockzilla now converted to Glock Ghidorha
Pictures? ???
Her she is. Talon grip about to go on. Waiting on about 10 boxes underwood ammo. Hope to post some wicked chronography.

I will take some low def pics and post soon. Had to crop the hell out of this pic to post it. Will order burris ff3 optic soon. Then a mech tech 10mm upper to complete the ultimate weapon.

I always thought the 10mm Mag case would be the perfect parent case for a 35 caliber Whisper/Blackout round. Sized to accept .358 diameter bullets I suspect with 180 grain bullets it could match 35 Remington ballistics in an AR platform. Of course, you could also load it with heavier bullets for a subsonic thumper, with a better trajectory than the 458 SOCOM and harder hitting than the 300 BO.

Hey Fltbed, you might want to try the 6.8 SPC Rifle Brass cases, but then its a great cartridge in its own right...

This thinking lead to me owning a 358 Winchester AR-10. I have bullet molds for 280 grain spire point and a 310 grain cup point. I can load that last one either to about 1900 fps from my 16" barrel, or dial it back to 1100 for a subsonic hard hitter.

Look up the 358 YETI.
Excellent ballistics. Batter and easier (IMHO) than the 357 AR on a 223 case. Altho you can load the 357 AR with 357 Mag/MAX dies AR cheaper cost than the LEE 358 YETI dies. (Not a lee die fan either)

Dang, that is one interesting round!

Are you saying you can't find 9x25 ammo or other! Most ammo is a hit and miss these days and with the high demand for 9mm bullets it will pose even more of a challenge to find 9x25Dillon cartridges! Handloading can be very useful to maintain ammo such as the 9x25 but again today's ammo shortages and component shortages have affected everyone!

I mean the 9x25 specifically sir, i have plenty of ammo of every other chambering i own, i cannot find the 9mm dillon in stock anywhere, always out of stock, I bought the dies about 6 months ago but not prepared to convert right now and we are in the process of moving to another state, my reloading presses are boxed up in storage at the moment, I have been watching websites for in stock ammo regarding 9x25 and added my email for a head up for in stock items, just have to be more patient.....
I've been on the lookout for a 9x25 1911 barrel and will likely get a Fusion 6" but what has kept my decision in limbo is whether to get it with a clark/para or wilson/nowlin ramp, I have two 6" 10mm's with both ramp cuts in the frame.
I'm also embroiled in other projects so it's back burnered for a while.

Bar Sto will make you a 9x25 barrel for your 1911. I have one for my Glock 29 and I had them build and fit a 10mm barrel for my Rock Island Ultra FS HC. Irv's work is impeccable.

I know this is a really old post but wanted to give feedback on this. I have a Glock 29 with a 9x25 barrel and have shot many rounds through my Dead Air Ghost 45; Silencerco Osprey 45 and Silencerco Hybrid suppressors. They hold up just fine and most definitely do tame the bark of the 9x25.
